Job Description The Service This long day care service has been operating for over 15 years in a modern, purpose-built facility for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Conveniently located on George Street, it offers free on-site parking and easy access via public transport. The centre features three well-resourced rooms filled with natural light and supported by a qualified, long-standing, and diverse team. Each space is equipped with sustainable materials to support quality learning. Children enjoy a large outdoor area with sandpits, mud kitchens, climbing equipment, and shaded play spaces. Educators also benefit from a calm, well-equipped staff room for rest and recharge. The Role This is a permanent full-time role, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday, with a generous Director’s allowance and a paid monthly RDO to support your work–life balance. In this role, you’ll inspire, motivate, and lead a passionate team, drawing on your strong pedagogical knowledge and experience to build meaningful relationships with children and families. You’ll oversee rostering, mentoring, daily operations, and policy implementation, all while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture. You’ll be backed by a strong support network, including an experienced Service Administrator, Education and Quality team, Education Support Manager, Child Wellbeing team, and Learning and Development specialists—ensuring you have everything you need to thrive. Of course, you will need: Australian working rights A current NSW Working with Children Check A completed ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree and proficient NESA Accreditation Demonstrated Leadership Experience with a minimum of 2 years management experience Assessment and Rating Experience Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) How to apply: Please submit your updated Cover Letter and CV via the 'APPLY NOW' button.
